Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

 

What this role is about?

 

Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will be responsible for Turkey and N.Cyprus Markets OCC Management, FCF and support to Legal entities in Turkey as part of the Agile team. Within the context, he/she is responsible of accurate and timely preparation of the annual budgets, periodic forecasts, strategic plans and tax & pricing proposals. He/she acts as a business partner to executives across the company supporting with financial analysis to help them manage the business and make operational decisions.

 

What will you do?

 

  • Perform month-end closing activities to reflect respective costs/revenues where needed, communication with respective departments in terms of potential accruals posting in SAP
  • Review and analysis of monthly actuals, consolidation and provision of comments, submission of different reports (incl. Volume CFO Brief including tax and pricing, Market CFO Brief, Actual Gross Margin Analysis) to the Regional and local Management teams, Corporate FP&A or Accounting teams
  • Analyze profitability for JTI, distributor in N.Cyprus and KA in Turkey
  • Ensure that technical specs documentation is regularly maintained and updated
  • Prepare annual budgeting (AP), periodic forecasting (including LEs, OLs and PMMs), strategic planning and variance analysis processes
  • Maintain an effective planning process, including coordination of a planning calendar with key dates and deliverables
  • Coordinate on data collection with other departments, challenging the inputs to drive results and performing consolidation for required presentations
  • Analyze the impact of any input on the result, investigating and providing respective proposals for mitigation where needed
  • Technical load of plans, variances analysis and roadmaps to the system as per Global instructions
  • Support other departments in analysis during the planning period where needed

 

What Are We Looking For?

  • University degree or equivalent, preferably in Finance
  • MBA or equivalent educational background (preferred)
  • 4+ years of experience is a must, preferably in a multinational company
  • Relevant experience in FMCG commercial finance and financial planning areas
  • Proven ability to think objectively and interpret meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to professionally interact with all levels of the organization
  • Proven Financial Planning and Analysis, IFRS Accounting, Statutory Accounting knowledge
  • Experienced in articulating financial concepts to non-finance business partners in a clear and concise manner
  • Fluency in Turkish and English is a must
