SPECIAL CHANNELS ACTIVATION MANAGER

 

Position Purpose

The incumbent will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing effective programs for Leisure Channel & Special Projects.

 

The position will be based in Istanbul and will be reporting to Marketing Director.

 

Responsibilities

  • Define Leisure Channel strategy, identify Leisure outlet objectives and expansion plans,
  • Select best convenience retailers to support objectives and deliver against defined criteria & KPIs,
  • Monitor consumer trends in Special Channel,
  • Manage & implement approved concepts in all outlets in line with key strategies whilst supervising all field activities,
  • Supervising the implementation of all event activations and executions,
  • Manage defined budget for Horeca, Events and Special Projects,
  • Responsible for the development of his/her team, consisting of 10 office and field-based employees.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree from Business Administration or equivalent departments,
  • Master’s Degree from Marketing related departments is an asset,
  • Min 7 years of relevant experience in FMCG Marketing and/or Sales functions,
  • Minimum 3 years of people management experience. Experience in managing a field based and/or remote team is an asset,
  • Willingness to travel within Turkey and work according to flexible working hours in line with Special Projects (evenings and weekends),
  • Fluency in English,
  • High proficiency in MS Office applications,
  • Analytical thinking and strategic planning skills.
