As the Maintenance Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal operation and reliability of our industrial work systems (IWS). You will lead and coordinate a dedicated maintenance team responsible for preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities across various equipment and facilities.
This role demands strong leadership skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a comprehensive understanding of maintenance best practices. You will collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and safety teams to enhance asset performance, minimise downtime, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the maintenance team, promoting a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous learning.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Coordinate maintenance workflows to meet production goals while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Analyse equipment performance data to identify trends and recommend improvements or upgrades.
- Manage resources efficiently, including personnel, tools, and materials, to optimise maintenance operations.
- Ensure accurate documentation of maintenance activities and prepare reports for senior management.
- Drive initiatives to enhance the reliability and longevity of machinery and infrastructure.
- Stay abreast of technological advancements and integrate relevant innovations into maintenance practices.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor or Technical Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in a maintenance leadership role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
- Excellent organisational and team management skills.
- Ability to analyse complex problems and develop effective solutions swiftly.
- Familiarity with maintenance management software and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive workplace.
- Effective communication skills, capable of working collaboratively across departments.
