Area Sales Manager - Istanbul

As an Area Sales Manager, you will lead the commercial agenda within your assigned geography, driving sustainable and responsible growth within regulatory frameworks. You will translate national and regional strategies into disciplined field execution while ensuring full compliance and consistent delivery of business objectives. In close partnership with the Regional Sales Manager, you will shape strategic priorities and build strong stakeholder relationships. This role offers a strong platform for career growth in a dynamic and regulated market.

The position is based in Istanbul and reports directly to the Regions Sales Manager.


Position:

  • Commercial Planning & Performance Management : Own the full performance cycle by analyzing KPIs, forecasting outcomes, delivering periodic reviews, and contributing to regional and national strategic planning

  • Strategic Stakeholder Management & Negotiation: Lead negotiations with key trade partners and distributors while strengthening relationships to drive competitiveness and long-term value.

  • Sales & Financial Ownership: Deliver or exceed targets across volume, SOM, and key metrics while effectively managing and optimizing trade marketing and sales budgets.

  • Strategic Initiatives & Execution Excellence: Design and implement commercial programs within regulatory boundaries, continuously evaluating effectiveness and refining execution to improve performance outcomes.

  • Trade Marketing & Channel Management: Ensure effective deployment of trade marketing in line with regulatory requirements while overseeing performance, including inventory management, accounts receivable, and channel execution standards.

  • Field Leadership & Compliance: Maintain strong field presence to ensure product availability, operational excellence, and full adherence to company policies, compliance standards, and applicable regulations at the point of sale

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of managerial experience in FMCG, with a proven track record in sales leadership, team management, and field execution.

  • Strong analytical mindset and numerical acumen, with the ability to interpret complex data, manage KPIs and budgets, and drive data-led decisions.

  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and people development capabilities.

  • Bachelor’s degree and strong command of English (minimum B2 level).

  • High mobility and flexibility to travel across different regions within Türkiye.
