The role will be responsible to support business operations and growth in line with other functions/regional/global direction to seek for new business development opportunities, protecting or increase volume/profit, support product and geographical expansion and engage our stakeholders.



Protect volume and profit

  • Secure all renewal & extension licenses and approval for smooth business operations (especially for new products launches or rejuvenation)
  • Nurture relationship with partners, distributors and local authorities to support our speed to market and take prompt actions to prevent any disruption to the business operation

Support product and geographical expansion

  • Develop new distribution opportunities with partners and with local authorities
  • Monitor with local agency, authorities, industry, Japan affairs in close collaboration with Business Development (BD) on the local market projects
  • Monitor RRP regulation

Strengthen JTI Brand

  • Develop an effective stakeholder’s management (including a full mapping, frequency visit and engagement plan actions)
  • Monitor regulatory affairs by nurturing relationship with key government and ministries, de-prioritize or moderate business impacts in coordination with regional/global Corporate Affairs and Communications (CA&C) direction
  • Define a clear corporate brand positioning in alignment with other functions and global/regional directions and communications strategy (by engaging our distributors, media and new communication channels)
  • Implement our corporate sustainability agenda to support company reputation and corporate responsibilities


  • Support and follow-up with CA&C Director various tasks and projects as they arise and upon Manger's request
  • Support CA&C Director to develop/coach a strong CA&C Team
  • Share workload of various tasks as part of the CA&C Team



  • Bachelor's Degree in any relevant field of studies
  • At least 5 years in business/strategic development or sales experiences with stakeholders egagement exposure
  • Working in tobbaco industry or equivalent sensitive industry is a plus


Functional Skills:

  • Interpersonal relations & Influencing skills
  • Corporate/external/government affairs experience is a must
  • Basic financial acumen and strategic thinking is necessary
  • Stateholder engagement and communications knowdege is an advantage
  • Entrepeuneur mindset and Paralegal knowledge is a plus
