Having one of the most exciting responsibilities in the Marketing department, as a Field Marketing Specialist - Key Account (KA) channel, you will be the CEO of Modern Trade channel in your own territory (South or North - including metropolitan cities & satellite cities) and together with your partners from Sales team, be accountable for driving its growth, developing & implementing all Marketing activities behind under the allocated resources, and fully empowered to drive bottom-up business proposals, making continuous learnings & improvements for your Key Account chains & outlets in very close collaboration & receiving strong supports from with Brand, Sales, Brand Ambassadors team, and Analysis functions across the business.


In order to succeed in this role, you will need to have (1) a strong entrepreneur, commercial & analytical mindset, (2) advanced consumer-centric appreciation & deep understanding of your Key Account chain to engage with the targeted consumers through impactful Marketing activities in your area to build brand growth - outclassing competitors (3) strong leadership & team-player quality to effectively collaborate with cross-functions to achieve common goals and successes, and (4) good communication and relationship management skills to negotiate offtake program with Key Account partners.


The responsibilities consist through-the-line territorial commercial, chain & consumer understandings; participation in the development & implementation of marketing programs/activations/visibility; management of resources; performance review & making corrective actions for continuous improvements to achieve the business objectives of your own Key Account territory.

  • Proactively integrate & embed in overall business understandings to obtain knowledge and be a part of translating business, commercial, and brand objectives into territorial objectives and KPIs.
  • Be on top of own Key Account in territory: always understand its commercial context & trade landscape, its consumers' behaviors and journey; its performance gainst the objectives/KPIs, and the resources available to drive corrective actions and new initiatives to drive continuous improvement & growth.
  • Leverage available cross-function supports to fulfil this empowered ownership.
  • Engage closely with internal stakeholders to ensure your Key Account is well supported across levels and functions.
  • Be the agent of changes & Lead your Key Account unit consisting Sales partners (Regional Key Account Lead & Key Account Supervisor), Merchandising and Brand team in coordination with line manager (Regional Field Marketing Assistant Manager) and back-office cross-functions in collecting and providing busines, competitive & performance understandings; facilitating relevant business proposals & driving marketing activities development (360 degree from offtake program, activation to visibility, either adaptation/customization from central programs or new initiatives); briefing and driving quality execution of the activities; tracking performance for continuous improvement to ensure strong collaboration of all the teams in your Key Account territory.
  • Engage closely with the Key Account buyers, store staffs & stores across territory, with the targeted consumers to understand the market & competitors, current performance, consumers' wants & needs, new trends & opportunities to drive growth & innovation.
  • Proactively & periodically conduct stores visits in coordination with leveraging analytical supports & insights to provide sound bottom-up business proposals for your region.
  • Be accountable with allocated resources (budget, people, POSM) in ensuring optimal usage with desireable returns on investments and proactively flag up demands of additional supports through sound business proposals.
  • Collaborate, learn from, and share successes and failures alike with stakeholders, especially with your peers who manages other territories to contribute to common learning curve & growth.
  • Actively engage with back office (Brand, Merchandising) and search from company's intranet to gain knowledge from best practices of Key Account innitiative globally to apply for market.



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or any related field of study.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Trade Marketing or Sales - preferably FMCG with proven track record or high potentials of leadership, commercial/entrepreneur mindset, and project management/coordination.
  • Experience in Modern Trade/Key Account is a big plus
  • Knowledge & practical experience in Trade/Field Marketing in Tobacco/FMCG is a big plus.
  • Fluency in oral and written English communication is a plus 
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications

  • Strong commercial, analytical, and entrepreneur mindset with ability to analyze and understand contextual business objectives & situation to develop relevant business plans/proposals with sound commercial and logical thinking.
  • Strong communication & influetial skills with systematic way of working to collaborate with dynamic stakeholders (within the company and with Key Account partners) effectively (open, respectful, professional, and confident).
  • Out-of-the-box thinking and with excelent observation skill to identify opportunity on field, from mass scale program to tactical display ideas to drive growth.
