RRP Sourcing Sustainability Manager

 

This role drives the company’s sustainability agenda by implementing responsible manufacturing and raw-material sourcing solutions for electronic/consumer products, while building trusted, transparent partnerships with suppliers. It also ensures progress against value-chain sustainability targets by staying current on evolving sustainability regulations and responsible sourcing best practices and collaborating closely with sourcing teams and suppliers.

 

As the RRP Sourcing Sustainability Manager, you will:

  • Support the growth of the RRP business by driving responsible sourcing and sustainability initiatives across the supply chain
  • Partner with the RRP Sourcing Sustainability Director in implementing key human rights and labor rights due diligence projects
  • Conduct supplier assessments and audits to evaluate compliance, identify risks, and drive continuous improvement
  • Lead and support supplier engagement to build collaboration on responsible sourcing initiatives
  • Support the implementation of social sustainability workstreams in alignment with internal stakeholders, local teams, and industry standards
  • Manage and support minerals due diligence processes, including data collection, analysis, and validation for compliance and reporting
  • Act as an internal subject matter expert on social sustainability and responsible sourcing for electronic devices
  • Collaborate with internal functions on sustainability disclosures and reporting (e.g., Integrated Report, CDP, relevant benchmarks/ratings)
  • Drive a transparent, collaborative, and improvement-focused approach across stakeholders
  • Handle ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the manager

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability, International Development, Science, Supply Chain, Human Rights, or other relevant discipline
  • Must have a Conflict Minerals Due Diligence experience
  • Minimum 5-10 years of work experience in sustainability, responsible sourcing, supply chain due diligence, human rights, manufacturing assessments, and audits
  • Demonstrable experience in raw materials and minerals sourcing in electronics, automotive, or consumer goods corporate environments
  • Prior experience engaging with supply chain actors and industry initiatives such as RBA, RMI, and RJC is a significant advantage
  • Proven project management and stakeholder management capability
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; able to assess information thoroughly and challenge the status quo constructively
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and remain effective in ambiguous or evolving environments
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Japanese or Mandarin/Chinese language skills are a strategic advantage
