Route To Market Manager
The RTM Manager is responsible for leading the design and execution of JTI's coverage and route management strategy, including territory and trade segmentation, monitoring coverage performance, maintaining the universe database, and managing field force headcount to ensure the achievement of shared objectives.
As the Route To Market Manager you will:
Coverage & Route Management
- Responsible for leading the implementation of JTI's Distribution strategy nationwide across General Trade, Horeca, Sub-Distributors, and Key Accounts, including distributor operations, coverage strategy, route management, and channel development.
- Design, propose, and implement appropriate Route-to-Market (RTM) tools and systems to ensure an effective and efficient coverage and route management model.
Distribution Performance
- Monitor coverage productivity and establish clear guidelines to achieve optimal coverage growth.
- Design and oversee initiatives aimed at enhancing both the numeric and weighted distribution of JTI products.
Universe Database Maintenance
- Review translated Nielsen data following the regional district format.
- Lead the annual implementation and offer guidance for the Retail Trade census to acquire updated information and insights on the current trade landscape.
Territory and Trade Segmentation
- Develop JTI customer classification and segmentation aligned with portfolio objectives.
- Collaborate with the Operations team to design the territory investment model.
Field Force Head Count Management
- Plan the appropriate number of field force head count in line with coverage strategy to ensure efficient & effective headcount distribution.
People Management
- Establish, monitor, and evaluate individual and team development plans.
- Deliver targeted people development interventions such as coaching, mentoring, and counseling to enhance team capabilities and motivation.
- Ensure team members adhere to company regulations and established business processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in any discipline.
- Minimum of seven years of experience in route-to-consumer, coverage, and territory management within multinational FMCG companies.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English.
- Extensive expertise in coverage and channel management strategies.
- Experienced in process optimization and project management.
- Strong commercial insight and analytical skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities.
