Route To Market Assistant Manager
RTM Assistant Manager is responsible for implementing trade surveys, including conducting data review and validation, customer segmentation, quality coverage, route management, and channel strategy. This role ensures the operations team comprehends survey procedures, coverage and territory principles, productivity metrics, and RTM systems and tools through effective training.
As the Route To Market Assistant Manager you will:
Coverage & Route Management
- Support the execution of coverage planning, channel strategy, and route management.
- Provide comprehensive training to ensure the operations team fully understands coverage guidelines, the effective use of relevant RTM systems and tools (QGIS, ROUTE, MyMaps), and coverage principles (sequencing and square model) to facilitate route and coverage implementation.
- Update and maintain all pertinent documents related to coverage and routing (e.g., Nielsen Universe and market updates).
- Review and validate new routes proposed by the Operations Manager before submission to the RTM Manager.
Distribution Performance
- Manage, update, and disseminate the guidelines for coverage expansion.
- Implement and oversee initiatives aimed at enhancing weighted distribution.
- Monitor and analyze coverage productivity to drive continuous improvement.
Universe Database Maintenance
- Obtain, adjust, and analyze Nielsen Data in the District Overview format.
- Support the implementation of the annual Market & Trade survey to gather updated information and insights on the latest trade landscape.
Territory and Trade Segmentation
- Update the customer classification & segmentation data to fit brand portfolio objective, ensure it is cascaded and understood by operation team.
- Update the territory (square) investment model by working with Field Marketing Team.
Field Force Head Count Management
- Support the regional field team in resource monitoring and planning in line with coverage strategy
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in route-to-consumer, coverage, and territory management within a multinational FMCG company
- Strong proficiency in English communication skills
- Experience in territory management
