About the position

Layout Designer is responsible for creating technical drawings of machinery layouts while being in collaboration with global functions, machine suppliers and supply chain manufacturing plants as well as documenting and maintaining records for changes, revisions and new additions with change management approach. You will also be accountable for the accuracy of the internal library of drawing, which will be a reference point for JTI globally.

What you will actually do:

Be responsible for maintaining and creating technical drawings of machinery layouts and product dimensional specifications with systematic and structured approach for new or existing product portfolio regarding new equipment and modification or relocation of existing equipment

 

What you will actually do:

Collaborate with project owners, machine suppliers, R&D, supply chain manufacturing plants for creation of new specifications, revision of existing specifications and follow up closure of specifications approval loop as per defined target date

Have ownership of records for documenting changes, updates, revisions with change management approach

Conduct periodical sanity checks of specifications and layouts in effect with active usage of SAP tool

Identify gaps and develop improvement areas in lay outs and product dimensional specifications process flows


Who are we looking for:

Education: Technical High School / University Degree in Engineering/Drafting (technical drawing) and design

Experience: 2 years in a similar role

 

Skills:

Excellent knowledge in Product / Parts / Assembly design & Technical drawings

Proficiency in AutoCad & SolidWorks, basic knowledge of SAP

Expert skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Experience in documentation controlling

Good communication skills - fluent verbal and written English is a must

Planning and organizational skills

Attention to detail

FMCG Industry Packaging process experience is a plus
