Position Purpose: 

 

The position purpose is to develop global Ploom Brand communication and full marketing tool kits based on thorough understanding of RRP consumer behavior. Key role of the position is to provide global direction for the long term development of the Ploom brand, in line with the needs of target audience and the long and short term commercial objectives of the business.

 

Main areas of responsibilities: 

 

  • Communication & Consumer Experience: Develop best-in-class marketing communications and branding campaigns across the portfolio, including big communication idea, advertising, PR&Media, Influencers strategy. Full Omnichannel communication for all Touchpoints including offline and online declinations. Develop communications for current and new product launches and product innovations.
  • Consumer Engagement & Activation: Develop the Global Brand Calendar and activation programs including yearly promotions. Development of own Retail design for full retail declinations from Flagships to General trade, inc. POSM, merchandising. Lead development of brand messaging and ambassador support for consumer engagement. 
  • Loyalty and Advocacy: Lead development of Loyalty and Advocacy programs, the full Ploom Club responsibility. Develop brand activation programs including platforms, concepts and comarketing collaborations with external parties. 
  • Budget Management (phasing and monitoring): Guarantee constant monitoring of the budget resources. In collaboration with Ploom Strategy & Deployment Director and the HQ M&S Finance Team, ensure frequent accurate budget phasing and timely management of required procedures.
  • Stakeholder Management (internal & external): Manage relationships and work closely in cross-functional projects with internal stakeholders, incl. business units, regions and markets, legal, CA, finance, PMO, PPO and manage external advertising and strategic agencies. 
  • People management: Recruit, motivate and guide the professional development of the team reporting directly to the incumbent. Continually enhance and enrich the talent base in Marketing proactively contributing to and enhancing relevant business capabilities for mid- to long-term success.

 

Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required:

 

  • University degree or equivalent 
  • 10+ years of proven track record of accomplishments in international business, marketing management & commercial experience; brand building and brand management, RRP experience (or similar experience in other highly innovative sectors) is considered as a plus.
  • Fluency in English required. Other languages a plus.
  • Brand Management including project management skills, marketing and brand activation across all Omnichannel offline and online Touchpoints. General managerial skills with capability to navigate in political environments.
