POSITION PURPOSE

 

This position supports the Head of D&I and is responsible for managing global Diversity & Inclusion projects and initiatives, being part of the Corporate D&I team and working in the close collaboration with JTI People & Culture function.

 

YOU'LL WORK WITH

 

You will be a member of the JTI global Diversity and Inclusion Team. The Team is made of the Vice President Diversity & Inclusion and a Manager Diversity & Inclusion based in our HQ in Geneva, Switzerland.

 

 

 

YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

 

D&I programs design

Develop and implement projects to further promote Diversity and Inclusion within the organization, being liaison with office(s), regions and markets.

 

Training design and delivery

Develop and run training sessions to enhance management and employees understanding of D&I issues and opportunities. 

 

Analytics and reporting

Support the development of JTI D&I metrics and dashboards to ensure accountability, tracking, and monitoring of efforts. Assess, both qualitatively and quantitatively the success/progress of programs, policies, and services. Supports D&I VP with the preparation of the periodic reports for presentations to senior leadership.

 

Communication

Develop D&I awareness communications and 'good news' stories for internal and external audiences, collaborating with Corporate Communications and as needed teams and in line with D&I communication strategy, leveraging available digital tools.

Respond to queries from employees about Diversity & Inclusion.

 

D&I research

Research and advise on D&I in JTI. Ongoing review of the organization’s workplace, policies and procedures, ensuring that these are imbedding D&I principles.

Constantly undertake research about external and internal D&I best practices and prepare influential proposals, where required.

 

 

 YOUR WORK EXPERIENCE

 

  • Minimum 5+ years in D&I and HR management roles.
  • Experience in D&I in an international environment is paramount. Subject matter expertise across broad Diversity and Inclusion best practices and display effective cultural/identity adaptability.
  • Proven relationship building abilities and cultural adaptability at all levels of the organization based on strong emotional intelligence and communication skills.
  • Track record of engaging with a diverse set of stakeholders and strong commitment to work collaboratively with other senior colleagues to craft a common vision and direction.
  • Proven ability to implement D&I best practices across functions (i.e. recruiting, L&D, career development, etc).

 

YOUR PROFILE

 

  • Proven change management, project management and training delivery skills.
  • Strong influencing and communication skills.
  • Proactivity, taking initiative, collaboratively driving strategy, using good judgement to prioritize requests and working with minimal direction.
  • Strong analytical skills, understanding of the big picture combined with attention to details.
  • At ease with new/emerging in-house digital practices.
  • Willingness to travel and work across JTI locations.
