Digital Drumbeat Manager - Geneva, Switzerland

Location: Geneva, Switzerland/Home-based

Role: FTE


Purpose of the Position:

JTI has recently embarked on a digital journey that will impact the entire organization.  The Digital Business Unit was recently created to guide that journey and the Digital Drumbeat will be responsible for leading the execution of high-impact digital initiatives across a wide range of groups including all Digital units, operating companies, and other internal partners from within the organization.  
As a result, there is a need for a new role to work within the Drumbeat team. The role will require a digital professional who has expertise in a specific digital area (CRM, SEO, or E-Commerce).  The candidate will work with the larger team and selected markets to develop digital strategies, support markets with the execution of those strategies, work with internal partners to deploy high-impact digital platforms, and identify best practices.                                                                                                                                         

The Candidate should be comfortable working in a structure with multi-disciplinary teams (IT, Legal, Local Markets, Marketing).  The successful candidate will be consumer-centric, entrepreneurial, and a self-starter.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Operations management: supports the execution of high-impact digital initiatives in assigned markets.  
  • Digital knowledge: able to contribute to strategy development with local markets in the area of expertise.
  • Key stakeholder liaison: maintains regular dialogue with global and local stakeholders to monitor progress and support requests on assigned markets.
  • Tool management: develops market adaptation toolkit & guidelines, engages with market teams to ensure adherence, and coordinates solution rollout/ scaling in alignment with IT, incl. architecture updates.


Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree or above in a relevant discipline.
  • 6+ years of business experience within cross-functional teams, digital marketing, and project management.
  • Proven expertise in SEO, eCRM, and/or E-Commerce.
  • Experience in implementing large-scale corporate digital initiatives.
  • Experience in agile methods is a plus.
  • International experience is a plus.
