Website & UX Capability Manager (m/f/d)

 

About the position: 

The Website & UX Capability Manager is responsible for the governance, adoption, performance and continuous development of website capabilities across markets. The role owns the website capability roadmap, with a particular focus on Builder.io, the Design System and connected consumer experiences. It ensures that business requirements are translated into scalable, user-friendly and high-performing digital solutions while supporting markets through governance, documentation, training and deployment activities.

 

Main areas of responsibility:

  • Collaborate on journey-led website design and optimisation
  • Prioritise frontend capability enhancements and feature requests based on strategic business guidelines and market needs
  • Ensure alignment with relevant technology teams throughout the development lifecycle
  • Validate feature quality, usability and business readiness before deployment
  • Monitor roadmap delivery and the implementation of agreed frontend initiatives
  • Own frontend performance indicators across markets
  • Monitor and improve website speed, user experience and engagementIdentify performance gaps and lead optimisation initiatives
  • Support markets in adopting Builder.io and other frontend capabilities
  • Develop implementation guidance, governance frameworks and training materials
  • Deliver training where required
  • Oversee website operational standards and Design System governance
  • Support the execution of frontend initiatives and major digital campaigns
  • Coordinate the investigation and resolution of website, content and capability issues
  • Monitor recurring issues and drive long-term corrective actions

 

Requirements: 

  • University degree or equivalent
  • At least five years of experience in Digital Marketing or Information Technology Management
  • Hands-on experience in a market digital role or in Digital and Information Technology
  • Fluency in English
  • Knowledge of frontend platforms, Builder.io, component libraries, Design Systems and headless architecture
  • Experience with Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse, Google Analytics and frontend performance management
  • Understanding of user experience principles, accessibility standards and journey optimisation
  • Experience with Figma
  • Fundamental knowledge of Hypertext Markup Language, Cascading Style Sheets and JavaScript
  • Understanding of application programming interfaces and webhooks
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across markets, user experience teams, technology teams and external partners
  • Strong ownership, consumer focus and commitment to continuous improvement
