RRP Sourcing Sustainability Manager
The RRP Sourcing Sustainability Manager will play an important role in demonstrating our company's commitment to product sustainability by identifying and implementing solutions to ensure appropriate communication and stakeholder engagement as a critical part of our responsible sourcing strategy.
This very hands-on role offers a unique opportunity to combine experience in communication, theory of change, change management, and storytelling with knowledge on sustainability regulations and best industry practice, while setting and delivering on business targets.
It is an opportunity to reward interest in electronics supply chains, responsible manufacturing of electronic products, responsible sourcing of minerals and other raw materials, and product circularity.
The RRP Sourcing Sustainability Manager will work closely with our electronics sourcing teams, internal corporate teams, and suppliers to advance our responsible sourcing program and ensure progress on sustainability targets in our electronics value chain.
Position:
- Develop and deliver a communication and engagement strategy with specific focus on RRP and electronic devices, ensuring alignment between the RRP Sourcing Sustainability team and various corporate functions, markets, and external stakeholders
- Support internal and external capacity building and stakeholder engagement activities, and input into internal governance documents, forums, and working groups, contributing to robustness and credibility of responsible sourcing and due diligence workstreams
- Keep abreast of the existent and emerging regulatory developments on sustainability reporting, supply chain due diligence, environment, human rights, and product sustainability in EU and globally, and translate this regulatory complexity into clear, actionable engagement, communication and governance work streams
- Ensure visibility and progress of ongoing work is appropriately tracked, documented and assured, contributing to timely and accurate external disclosure, communication and stakeholder engagement
- Establish and manage relationship with priority external stakeholders and industry organizations, identifying opportunities for outcome-based engagement
Requirements:
- Master's degree in the field of sustainability, International development, Communications, Sustainability, Supply chain, human rights or other degrees combining those

7-10 years’ experience in the intersection of sustainability reporting, communications and stakeholder engagement, preferably gained in consumer-facing corporate context, industry association or agency supporting brand communication and engagement

Demonstrable breath and depth in voluntary standards and industry best practice in responsible sourcing and supply chain sustainability, particularly of consumer goods, with good understanding of existent and emerging sustainability regulations

Experience from large complex organizations, working collaboratively to positively influence multiple stakeholders, while being comfortable with challenging the status quo, asking and answering difficult questions, and operating independently in a rapidly changing, culturally complex and ambiguous context

Strong systems-thinking mindset and proven ability to balance immediate team needs with company-wide long-term goals

Demonstrable experience and track record of accomplishments in corporate affairs, policy and stakeholder engagement, particularly in sustainability and ESG, with proven experience working with large industry associations, policy and advocacy organizations, think-tanks, NGOs
- Fluency in English for effective verbal and written communication; knowledge of Japanese or Chinese is a plus
