Ploom Consumer Experience Manager (f/m/d)

 

 

Why does this role exist?


In line with the new global JTI Corporate Strategy, the Ploom Brand Group is responsible for the long-term strategic development of the Ploom brand and the company presence in the Reduced Risks Products (RRP) Heated Tobacco (HT)  category. The team develops the global brand strategy, communication and activation tools development to build the Ploom brand as a global leader in the RRP HT market. Together with the team, the Ploom Consumer Experience Manager will provide global leadership and management for the long-term strategic development of the Ploom brand, develop full communication assets for all touchpoints on the consumer journey in a fully omnichannel way, in line with the needs of the consumer and the long- and short-term commercial objectives of the global business 

 

What will you actually do?


The Ploom Consumer Experience Manager will be responsible for driving the communication strategy and its creation, in line with the Brand Positioning. He/She will have a critical role through the interactions with the agency. The manager will have the responsibility to clarify our needs to the agency, build a fruitful and productive relationship with them, and manage their deliveries. Through the relationship with the agency, the manager will lead multiple brand initiatives and projects in the area of strategy and positioning, brand world development, global communications including market support with toolkits, best practices and also activation programs such as brand collaborations, events and related Public Relations.

The responsibilities include agencies management, budget management, strategic presentations for sharing with markets and senior management, regular alignment with key stakeholders throughout the business.

 

 Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Communication: Develop best-in-class marketing communications and branding campaigns across the portfolio, including big communication ideas, advertising, PR. Full omnichannel communication for all touchpoints including offline and online declinations. Develop communications for current and new product launches and product innovations. A full omnichannel approach including communication, retail, ambassadors, and online.

 

  • Brand Stewardship: Act as brand guardian to ensure all projects are building toward the broader brand vision and ensure cohesive implementation of the strategy and key equities. Provide quality and timely input for Annual &Strategic Planning, Strategic Review Committee (SRC), Regional clarification sessions for the Ploom brand. Point of contact for new markets and responsible for brand introduction presentations. Represent the brand team in key forums and update meetings to ensure markets/regions are aware of key initiatives. 

 

  • Diverse cross-functional projects: Continuously learn and deploy agile mindset and agile methodologies in daily work to drive efficient implementation of global initiatives, ensure timely communication and updates with key stakeholders

 

  • Budget ROI measurement: Accurate planning and phasing delivering transparency and ensuring efficient utilization of available resources. Input into all HQ reporting requirements in a timely manner.

Skills & Experience:

 

  • Ability to create a communication campaign based on a clear positioning.
  • Proven successful relationship with agencies, and ability to create clear and efficient brief.
  • University degree in Marketing or Business Administration.          
  • 8-10 years proven track record of accomplishments in Brand Management. International, cross-functional or RRP experience will be considered as a plus.
  • Strong Strategic and Creative skills. Curious and thrive in an environment that requires continuous learning and innovation.
  • Strong conceptual and analytic skills, while paying attention to detail.
  • Adapt rapidly to change and are at ease to work in a dynamic and agile environment that is fast paced with shifting priorities.
  • Values to work in a team where positive energy, openness, and trust is key.
  • Willing to take accountability and results oriented.
  • Proactive in taking initiative and creative in seeking solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong PowerPoint.
  • Open to learning how to work in a corporate, complex, agile and with a variety of stakeholders with various levels of seniority.
