Sales Representative (Frameries - Tournai - Flobecq)


Position purpose:


The person in that position will be responsible for managing a certain geographical area (Frameries - Tournai - Flobecq) which consists of predefined retail shops, by following the company strategy in order to improve the availability, presence, and selling out of our products.

The main objective is to realize the volume & Service Obtainable Market targets in the area through a self-designed business plan, tailor-made approach, and retailer/staff coaching & engagement. The successful candidate will also implement with excellence and realize the set cycle objectives on distribution, coverage, and program execution.                                                                                                           



What will you do – responsibilities:


  • Build up and ensure a long-term commercial relationship with fixed clients in a predetermined geographical sector (area) in order to guarantee an optimal collaboration.
  • Analyze/monitor performance on the area level and implement the necessary actions in line with the overall company strategy to achieve volume and SOM growth. Designing an area business plan.
  • Analyze/monitor performance on the shop level and translate this into tailor-made action plans for this client. Evaluate, adapt and steer when needed. 
  • Perform basic cycle activities (distribution, coverage, program execution) in order to ensure and improve the availability, presence, and selling out of our products.
  • Transmit all market information (client, product, competition) within the legal boundaries in order to be able to evaluate current activities and strategies and to be able to quickly respond to/anticipate changing market situations.
  • Control and execute daily and specific administration in order to enable the handling of predetermined activities.
  • Control the different stock movements (cigarettes, tobacco, premiums) linked to activities.  Undertake, in case of errors, all the necessary corrective actions.



Who are we looking for – requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent by experience.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience as a sales representative or in services.
  • Fluent French and basic English
  • Computer skills: Windows & Microsoft Office
