Strategic Insights Manager

 

In the role of Strategic Insights Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving strategic decision-making and business planning by leveraging data and insights. Utilizing available data sources, this position develops and updates market models for the Middle East & Shisha markets, providing insights to support strategic planning and business decisions. As pivotal role for HTS category in Strategic Insights team, this role will participate in developing business cases for Ploom as well provide support to understand Ploom portfolio and pricing scenarios' impact on SOM and volume.

 

Position: 

 

As the Strategic Insights Manager, in the Marketing Middle East & Shisha department, you will:

 

  • Develop and regularly update Market Model for Middle East & Shisha Markets: analyze available data from consumer and trade research studies and external reports (population and demographic, macroeconomics, imports, tax stamps reports, government-issued data, etc.) to produce estimations on category sizing, JTI and competition performance.
  • Support Business Decision Process through providing inputs and validation of Ploom Business cases Scenarios Impact on SOM and Volume, in close collaboration with marketing and sales teams.
  • Ensure that the insights provided are actionable and contribute to the achievement of business objectives.
  • Utilize available data to gain understanding of categories where JTI is not present (e-vape, orals) as well as Duty-Non Paid, Outflow, etc.
  • Support in creation of presentation decks.

 

Requirements: 

 

  • University Degree in economy, social sciences or technical sciences or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in a similar position in FMCG environment.
  • Previous experience in market modelling will be considered as strong advantage.
  • Excellent English level.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a team player with great communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel.
  • Excellent knowledge and practical use of statistics, research methodology, analysis and problem solving, project/process management.
