Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

 

 

About the Role


We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to oversee financial operations, including month-end closing, variance analysis, and reporting. You will manage conversion costs, asset accounting, and provide financial insights for projects. Additionally, you’ll analyze Product & Labor cost and balance sheet movements, support forecasting, and contribute to asset management and capital expenditure planning.

 

Key Responsibilities:


•    Fixed Asset Management: Track and maintain fixed asset data, including capitalizing CIP (Construction in Progress), asset tagging, and disposals. Ensure timely and accurate reporting and coordination of quarterly impairment and JSOX stock count reviews.
•    Cost Management: Oversee conversion costs, prepare and consolidate budgets, and analyze cost deviations across departments. Monitor Management Cross Allocation (MCA) charges, intercompany agreements, and shared function cost allocations.
•    Financial Analysis & Reporting: Prepare and analyze CAPEX, spare parts, accruals, and reserve movements in the MFCF (Market free cash flow) report. Reconcile general ledger data with inventory and fixed asset modules, ensuring accurate reporting.
•    Process Improvement: Work closely with the Factory Finance Controller to identify, analyze, and report variances in conversion costs (labor, inventory, depreciation) and below-product costs, driving cost efficiency and performance improvements.
•    Project Support: Provide financial support for the Project at the Contract Manufacturing site, including month-end closing, financial system uploads, and special requests related to CAPEX, conversion costs, and forecasting.

 

Who We Are Looking For


A dynamic, passionate, and result-oriented person, with:
•    A bachelor’s degree in accounting or professional qualification; membership in a recognized professional body will be advantageous
•    3 to 5 years of experience in management accounting and cost accounting
•    Experience in a manufacturing environment will be a plus
•    Proficiency in spoken and written English
•    SAP knowledge and advanced Excel skills, PowerPoint; PowerBI will be added advantage
•    High analytical thinking skills, good team work and communication skills
