Process Lead
The incumbents role is to eliminate process losses on equipment or areas, to support the line team to create process standards, and to coach using standard tools to perform problem-solving. The process lead is responsible for implementing and/or maintaining, and continuously improving, the daily management systems (DMSs) they own in their area, typically the centerline (CL), changeover (CO) and change management (CM) DMS.
Requirements:
- Degree or similar in business or engineering related subject.
- 3+ years of professional experience in a production environment in a similar role, could be project engineer background.
- Fluency in English (Oral and Written)
- PC literacy (MS Office). Knowledge of production technologies, standards of factory improvement programs, Lean Manufacturing (KAIZEN, TPM, etc.), ISO/EHS Knowledge of IWS principles and routine. Focus on helping people. Analytical background. Passion for continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Owner for identifying / eliminating losses through root cause problem solving on assigned Cell. Responsible for controlling the use of the SAP / EAM system and carrying out activities at the right time.
2. Coaches team members of assigned cell in line with IWS principles, ensuring IWS methodology is in place, properly executed and lived daily to achieve the operational objectives.
3. Responsible for establishing, maintaining, and improving effectiveness of assigned Daily Management Systems (DMSs) & supporting tools for their Cell. E.g., CL - Centerline, CO - Changeover, CM - Change Management, Supporting tools - Loss Tree, IPS (Initial Problem Solving), UPS (Unified Problem Solving), 90 Day action plan, Rate control, S-Shape & Weibull.
4. Builds the capability of the line teams, enabling self-sufficient teams through training and development in responsible DMS's & tools. Develops the operating teams’ technical understanding and mastery of process control within assigned Cell.
5. Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager's request.
