Position Purpose:

JTI USA is presently seeking a District Sales Manager to become a member of our Sales team, to help support the overall strategy of the organization for the Keystone District. The greography of this district includes Pennsylvania and West Virginia.





  • Ensure that assigned Sales Representatives attain objectives regarding product sale, distribution, exposure, and maintain appropriate inventory levels while respecting retail arrangements and promotional budget allocations
  • Provide field leadership through training, development and performance evaluation of Sales Representatives in his/her territory to increase productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness, and identify candidates for possible advancements.
  • Maintain consistent contact with distributors to ensure product availability and secure orders, strengthen and build customer relations and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Execute retail and wholesale promotional support activities to build brand awareness of our products to prospective customers/consumers

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of direct sales related managerial experience. Industry knowledge and FMCG organizational experience are preferred
  • Experience in selling to retailers, Wholesalers and Distributors in the Consumer Products industry is preferred.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Prior experience with Sales Force Automation systems would be a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Self-starter with demonstrated strong work ethic.
