Demand Planning & Forecasting Manager (m/w/d)

 

In this versatile position you ensure a proper planning of the Swiss domestic demand as well as accurate sales forecasting. You will be in close contact with both Sales and Marketing departments and Factory manufacturing services. In daily business you can use your analytical skills and your natural familiarity with numbers along with stakeholder engagement to successfully perform your duties and responsibilities.

 


Key Responsibilities: 

 

  • Weekly/Monthly/ & Yearly volume forecast planning for domestic market by considering order pattern, promotions, innovations, and other factors
  • Tracking of volume plans, set and initiate proactive action steps
  • Participate in outer year volume projections for the Annual Sales Planning process
  • Demand planning for a portfolio of Brands, categories, domestic and imported products  based on volume forecasting
  • Effectively manage Finish Goods stock holdings and production material usage
  • Accurately projecting & correcting production shortfalls and surpluses
  • Providing supply analysis, performance and KPI reports
  • Elaboration of price and factsheets for initiatives
  • Maintenance of customer master data in SAP
  • Execution of various month-end closing activities

 

 

Qualifications and Experience:

 

  • After a higher commercial education, you gained at least three years of practical experience ideally in Demand Planning & Forecasting
  • A high interest in processes and technologies and as a plus also an affinity to numbers
  • Enthusiastic self-starter, flexible and reliable person with strong analytical mindset and ability to recognize complex correlations
  • Fluent in English and German is a must French is an advantage
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and SAP knowledge is an advantage
