Planning and Budgeting Manager (Market)
As the Planning & Budgeting Manager, you will:
- HR Analytics
- Work closely with key stakeholders regarding HC projection and derive key insights for regular FTE tracking, Functional requirement and P&C Director/R&O Lead
- Analyze planning trends, and monitor plan vs actual spending
- Drive cost optimization through data analytics and smart resource allocation in discussion with Budget Owners
- Annual Strategic Plan
- Monitor changes due to new hires, internal movement (position change, promotions, salary changes etc.), restructuring, replacements and terminations etc. to ensure alignment with the plan period
- Develop 3-year projection for S&F and Non-S&F, closely working with Budget Owners
- Prepare trends and data analysis to support planned numbers, working closely with Rewards and FP&A
- Respond to all queries from P&C Director and FP&A
- Coordinate with Global functions for planned S&F for verticalized functions
- Budget control and monitoring
- Monthly reconciliation based on planned numbers and actuals spent, identifying key trends and deviations
- Monthly narratives shared with FP&A explaining key deviations from planned numbers
- Updated planned numbers during Commercial Reviews (CR), Latest Estimates (LE) and Outlooks (OL), based on approved deviations / exceptions to ASP plan
- P&C SPOC for budget vs actuals information
- Continuously refine planning assumptions to minimize plan vs actual variance.
- Reporting
- Provide GL-wise narratives, analysis and justification on a monthly basis, separately, for AP vs LE and OL vs LE for Factory and Leaf Expats.
- Prepare monthly variance analysis and narratives for Actual vs Plan and Actual vs OL for Factory and Leaf
- Prepare and submit accruals for PSIP, Earned Leave, Festival Bonus, Long Service Award, etc. and manage reconciliation with Finance team on a monthly basis, if any.
- Manage STA cross-charges (Home & Host)
- IA cost management (for Entity 1420):
- IA HC and budget planning in coordination with Benefits & Rewards, Admin and EHS, Local and Global Mobility Business Partners
- Plan IA Tax in consultation with external tax consultant, Benefits & Rewards Manager, and Global Tax team
- Periodic reconciliation of IA costs
- Provide insights for local decision-making to optimize IA costs
- System Utilization
- Ensure HC and Opex updates in MPC tool as per Global MPC timeline
- Manage offline and MPC submissions ensuring data consistency between planning and reporting outputs.
- Coordinate with Global MPC team on changes and requirements on global reporting tools
- Other responsibilities
- Preparation and approval of relevant policies, guidelines and SLAs to ensure standard process and business continuity
- Deliverables assigned time-to-time by Line Manager and People and Culture Director
Requirements:
- BBA (with Finance major) or graduation in Finance preferred
- Minimum 5 years experience specialized in HR Budgeting, Planning and Analytical role, preferably from FMCG
- Fluent in English Communication.
- Advanced Microsoft Office tools usage (highly specialized in Excel.), equally proficient in other MS tools such as MS power point, MS word etc.
- Functional Skills:
- Strong analytics and problem-solving skills
- Strong organization and project management skills including multiple stakeholders
- Understanding of business and HR trends in the market
- Clear understanding on compensation, benefits and organization structures
- Use different tools and platforms introduced by Global Teams
