Technical Quality Coordinator

 

What this position is about

 

Ensures effective monitoring of processing operations and maintain the proper functioning of quality control equipment and packed product management. Oversees the preparation of manuals, reports, and operational documentation, validate final products, consolidate data and performance indicators, and manage tobacco sample preparation and shipment. Additionally, supports budget control, conducts critical analyses, develops tools for performance evaluation, and provides assistance to internal and external stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities

 

1. Process Monitoring and Analysis

  • Coordinate the monitoring and analysis of daily processing and quality data, ensuring timely communication to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support investigations related to product integrity programs through data collection and analysis.
  • Coordinate the preparation and shipment of CPA samples.

 

2. Results Management and Evaluation

  • Support the application of established recommendations in line with the Leaf Processing Manual.
  • Analyze results to identify deviations and potential improvement opportunities, escalating findings as appropriate.
  • Support daily routines and track maintenance activities related to QC equipment.
  • Support daily QC operational routines by verifying the proper execution and documentation of required tests.

 

3. Corporate Systems – QIMS, ORCA and Leaf Point

  • Support the testing and implementation of system enhancements and new tool developments.
  • Act as a QIMS Power User, providing functional support and guidance.
  • Coordinate data reporting activities within ORCA.
  • Perform inventory verifications in Leaf Point to support final volume evaluations.
  • Serve as a backup user for Leaf Point and other critical systems to ensure continuity of operations.

 

4. Document Management

  • Prepare, update, and maintain TQ manuals, procedures, and One‑Point Lessons (OPLs).
  • Coordinate document control activities to ensure standardization and support continuous quality improvement.
  • Support compliance with Integrated Management System procedures and internal policies.

 

5. Budget Control

  • Prepare purchase requisitions for operating expenses (Opex).
  • Track monthly expenditures and support cost monitoring by highlighting variances as needed.

 

Who we are looking for – Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Production Engineering, Industrial Production Management, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Control, Technical Quality, or related activities within the tobacco manufacturing or processing industry.
  • Fluent English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Solid knowledge of tobacco production processes, including quality, contamination, and infestation control standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to plan and prioritize routine activities effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and results-oriented approach.
