Warehouse Analyst
The Warehouse Analyst is responsible for Warehouse Management System (WMS-MOM) end user training, troublshooting, and continous improvement, the daily management systems (DMSs) they own in their area. The incumbents role is to eliminate process losses in Warehouse area, to support Warehouse team to create process standards, and to coach using standard tools to perform problem-solving.
Position Responsibilities:
- Identifying/eliminating losses through root cause problem solving in the Warehouse. Responsible for controlling the use of the SAP / WMS system and carrying out activities at the right time.
- To ensure uninterrupted warehouse operation being in the role of Power User perform administration and support applications and systems: SAP, WMS, Smart MDS and other information systems. Configure systems, troubleshoot errors, register discrepancies on the IT portal, coordinate error correction, suggest solutions.
- Coaches team members of Warehouse in line with IWS principles, ensuring IWS methodology is in place, properly executed and lived daily to achieve the operational objectives.
Ensures the correctness and troubleshooting of MOM Lite system, coaches the team on the daily tasks and responsibilities.
Builds the capability of Warehouse team in view of MOM Lite and IWS, enabling self-sufficient team through training and development. Develops the operating teams’ technical understanding and mastery of process control within Warehouse. - Responsible for establishing, maintaining, and improving effectiveness of assigned Daily Management Systems (DMSs) & supporting tools for the Warehouse E.g.,
CL - Centerline
CO - Changeover
CM - Change Management
Supporting tools - Loss Tree, IPS (Initial Problem Solving), UPS (Unified Problem Solving), 90 Day action plan, Rate control, etc. - Supports the improvement of the processes within the department, considering ISO, Safety, EHS Projects and Policies & Procedures, Code of Conduct.
Performs any other tasks given by the Manager.
Ready to support any member of the team depending on business need.
Ensures the compliance to the JTI Management Systems and respective duties in the department as well as the cooperation on the continuous improvement process.
Position Requirements:
- Degree or similar in business or engineering related subject.
- 3+ years of professional experience in a production environment in a similar role, could be project engineer background
- Fluency in English (Oral and written).
- Advance PC Skills (MS Office). Knowledge of production technologies, standards of factory improvement programs, Lean Manufacturing (KAIZEN, TPM, etc.), ISO/EHS. Knowledge on IWS principles and routine. WMS skills and End User Training. Analytical background. Passion for continious improvement.
