Reduced-Risk Products Brand Manager

reporting to the Reduced-Risk Products Lead

 

What this position is about – Purpose

 

The Brand Manager will be responsible for the RRP brand strategy, performance, pricing strategy, sales collaboration, competitiveness, and new product introductions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Brand Strategy & Development: Collaborate with the Project Lead to develop and refine brand portfolio, pricing, and promotion strategies
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze online and offline performance for both own brands and competitors across various touchpoints and channels to drive profitable growth
  • Marketing & Consumer Engagement: Plan and execute marketing campaigns across multiple touchpoints (e.g., OOH, events, HoReCa, ambassadors, printed/digital media) to enhance brand awareness and consumer engagement
  • Brand Communication: Assist in developing and refining brand strategies, assets, key visuals, and messaging to ensure consistency across online and offline touchpoints.
  • Support the RRP Lead: ensure a unified brand narrative and execution excellence
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales to develop an optimal geographic expansion strategy and with Finance to maximize ROI across channels
  • Agency & Stakeholder Coordination: Manage day-to-day activities with creative agencies, ensuring alignment with all involved stakeholders
  • Consumer-Driven Campaigns: Work with the Project Lead and activation team to develop locally relevant brand campaigns based on consumer insights
  • Business Review & Insights: Conduct regular business performance reviews against set KPIs, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement to the RRP Lead and cross-functional teams
  • New Product Development (NPD): Lead the NPD process, ensuring timely and effective product launches that meet consumer needs and regulatory requirements
  • Budget Management: Efficiently manage the brand budget, ensuring optimal allocation and performance analysis

 

What will you do – Responsibilities:

 

  • Proven experience in strategic 360°-always-on marketing management and strategy development, with expertise in FMCGs (ideally in the Tobacco industry)
  • Highly analytical to assess thoroughly different options to enable clear business choices
  • Strategic and critical thinking skills as well as a solid data/ number understanding
  • Results oriented, proactive mindset & able to creates strong relationships
  • Keeps thing simple and efficient by removing duplicative effort, finding ways to reach to achieve results in in the most effective way
  • Transparent, inclusive and collaborative to bring out the best of the team and cross functional partners
  • Project management and organizational skills to oversee execution of strategic initiatives incl. ability to manage multiple projects in a fastpacked, dynamic environment
  • Structured problem solving and change management capabilities
  • Experienced in managing and optimizing budgets effectively to meet key objectives to deadlines and budget
  • Visual, aesthetic and creative skills to develop attractive campaigns together with creative agencies, in line with JTI brand guidelines and local RRP activation strategy

 

Whom are we looking for – Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, Business administration or related fields
  • 5+ years of experience in brand management in an FMCG company (preferably in the Tobacco industry)
  • Proficiency in branding tools, marketing platforms, analytical software & Microsoft tools
  • Exceptional leadership, communication & project management skills
