WAREHOUSE CLERK
For the new tobacco factory in TETOUAN, we are looking for a Warehouse Clerk. You will be responsible for the Warehouse section, Spare Parts Warehouse, and its related areas, including all material and spare parts movements and their accurate recording in SAP. You ensures that all materials and spare parts are properly received, stored, loaded, and offloaded in the Spare Parts Warehouse. Periodic stock takes (at least monthly) must be conducted to ensure 100% inventory accuracy. You will also ensures safe warehousing practices and the smooth, prompt collection and delivery of materials and spare parts to the maintenance team. This includes efficient offloading and placement of materials and spare parts in the designated warehouse locations and accurate documentation in SAP, in accordance with JTI safety standards and 5S3R policies.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Make sure that all shipments (including Spare Parts) are properly unloaded from trucks, with quantities accurately checked, reported, and entered into the SAP system in a timely manner.
Ensure that all materials are stored in their appropriate locations, with inventory records updated in SAP according to internal procedures. This includes ensuring the accessibility and availability of parts, as well as maintaining security, safety, and compliance with 5S3R standards in the warehouse area.
Ensure accurate inventory movements to and from the Production and Maintenance departments to maintain correct inventory records on a daily basis by issuing all recorded maintenance orders and receiving shipment documentation on time. Verify that all materials and spare parts delivered to Production and Maintenance match the required specifications, including correct part numbers/ERSA references, labels, and designated storage locations.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with JTI standards, and ensure that all warehouse equipment is functioning correctly and properly maintained.
Deliver on KPI commitments related to SAFETY, QUALITY, SERVICE, and COST. Identify and follow up on areas for improvement, particularly in achieving optimal inventory levels. Work in close coordination with PPO, Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Finance departments to ensure timely processing and delivery of GRNs and invoices.
You will also be expected to perform any tasks assigned by your direct manager and take accountability for handling special projects when assigned by management.
EDUCATION
Bachelor degree in Engineering, logistics or related field
WORK EXPERIENCE
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar job is recommended
SKILLS
- Strong English Language and Computer Proficiency
- Familiarity with SAP and/or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a Plus
