IT BUSINESS SOLUTIONS MANAGER

We are seeking an experienced IT Business Solutions Manager to join our Information Technology team.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As an IT Business Solutions Manager, you will be responsible for formulating the right IT solution strategy for the Factory, in line with the Factory ASP and the IT Lead. You will serve as a solution architect, driving the selection, design, and delivery of IT solutions to support the Factory’s growth and transformation objectives.

You will proactively engage with relevant business stakeholders to understand business processes and requirements, formulate the appropriate solution strategy, and ensure alignment with Factory priorities. You will act as an IT solution consultant, mapping relevant technologies and IT services to business needs and supporting demand and stakeholder management.

You will serve as an IT solution subject matter expert for business transformation and change initiatives, working with internal and external subject matter experts to define the required technology solutions and assess their business impact.

You will lead the detailed planning and execution of approved IT projects in accordance with JTI’s Project Management Framework, established IT standards, policies and procedures, J-Sox controls, and industry best practices. You will coordinate internal and external resources and ensure that projects are successfully executed while day-to-day operations continue effectively and efficiently.

You will also manage third-party solution providers and external project resources, ensuring compliance with JTI quality standards and agreed project commitments and contractual obligations. You will exercise fiscal discipline and transparency in managing project budgets.

EDUCATION

University degree in Computer or Technical Science, or a strong IT background.

WORK EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years of experience in the IT discipline
• 1+ year of experience in IT Management of Business Solutions/Application teams, including people management where relevant
• Experience in multinational companies is preferred
• Good working knowledge of business and related processes in the FMCG industry

SKILLS

• Experience in at least 2 of the following technology trends:
  • Mobile applications development
  • Cloud SaaS solutions
  • New-generation Business Intelligence solutions such as Tableau, Qlik, MS Power BI, or Tibco Spotfire
• Business requirements analysis
• Solutions design and architecture covering business applications and IT infrastructure
• Application design methodology, including Agile methodology
• Interface design, capacity planning, and scalability
• Good financial and budgetary understanding
• Project management of medium- to large-scale projects
• Business analysis
• Supplier management
• People management, where relevant
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage project-related conflict
• Ability to act decisively in crisis situations and manage priorities with a sense of urgency
• Strong organizational skills
• Creative, innovative, and enterprising mindset
• Ability to work with ambiguity and connect the dots
• Team-oriented and collaborative approach
• Proactive attitude and willingness to keep pace with business and technology trends
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
