Sales Associate - Western Cape Township

We are looking for a proactive and driven individual to join JTI as a Sales Associate within the Informal Trade sector. This role is key to executing trade objectives and developing effective Route-to-Market (RTM) models in township areas. You will work closely with internal teams and trade partners to deliver strong sales results and meaningful consumer engagement in your assigned territory.

Position

• Ensure strong product visibility and merchandising in all assigned outlets.
  
  
• Meet distribution and listing targets by negotiating key SKU placements.
  
  
• Maintain product availability by supporting accurate and timely stock ordering.
  
  
• Manage pricing execution to ensure competitiveness in the market.
  
  
• Implement trade programs and promotions according to business objectives.
  
  
• Build lasting relationships with trade partners and gather relevant market insights.
  
  

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in FMCG or trade/retail sales.
  
  
• Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel and Word. 
  
  
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  
  
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within assigned areas.
