Export Administration Associate
What this position is about:
The Export Administration Associate is responsible for managing and overseeing export orders and related deliveries, serving as the key interface between external clients and the Global Supply Chain (GSC) departments in Romania. This role ensures all legal and operational conditions are met for order fulfillment, monitors project status for allocated markets, and oversees the correct sequencing of SKU (Finished Product) codes in production. The role also tracks the flow of documents and organizes transportation, while maintaining ongoing communication with the client throughout the process.
What will you do - Responsibilities:
- Take charge of reviewing, confirming, and tracking export orders, while building strong, ongoing communication with clients to ensure smooth execution and delivery.
- Drive the implementation of new product development projects for export markets, managing the seamless transition of SKUs (phase-in/phase-out) to ensure production alignment.
- Act as the key liaison between clients, markets, and internal teams, keeping everyone aligned on project timelines, updates, and managing excise stamp logistics with precision.
- Keep export data up-to-date in SAP, ensuring all client and process information is accurate, and coordinate any necessary changes efficiently.
- Prepare and streamline the flow of essential export documents, from generating UIT codes to ensuring compliance with RO e-Transport regulations.
- Monitor production schedules, plan transport effectively, and optimize loadings for cost-efficient and timely deliveries.
- Ensure all exports meet legal requirements by managing e-AD closures, and handle documentation for raw material exports in full compliance with regulations.
Who are we looking for - Requirements:
- University degree.
- Experience in a similar role in supply chain, preferably in the FMCG sector is considered a plus
- Fluent in English and Romanian.
- Proficient in MS Office .
- General knowledge and understanding of supply chain processes.
- Strong communication skills.
- Planning and problem-solving abilities with a capacity to anticipate challenges.
- Cost analysis and budget management skills
