 UX Data Activation Manager

 

What this position is about – Purpose

 

The UX Data Activation Manager is responsible for leveraging data-driven strategies to optimize the Marketing & Sales (M&S) B2C function by enhancing user experience (UX) and driving consumer engagement.

As a Data Product Owner, this role involves the development, evolution, and implementation of data products that optimize digital touchpoints, analyze user behavior, and improve the customer journey. The focus is on maximizing the value of data through a combination of business acumen, strong analytical skills, and problem-solving expertise.

You will collaborate closely with business and technical teams to specify and activate UX data opportunities, working with tools like Content Square to provide actionable insights that influence the digital experience. By aligning UX strategy with business goals, you will drive measurable improvements in engagement and business outcomes, ensuring seamless communication and coordination across teams.

 

What will you do – Responsibilities:

 

  • UX Data Activation & Strategy Development
  • Identify UX data opportunities within M&S B2C processes to improve consumer engagement and user experience.
  • Leverage analytics to uncover user behaviour patterns, optimize digital interactions, and measure the success of UX-driven projects.
  • Maximize the value of existing UX data sources and identify new data opportunities to enhance digital performance and conversion rates.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Execution
  • Work closely with the Data & Analytics team to:
  • Define KPI frameworks across digital touchpoints for UX performance measurement.
  • Assist the Team Manager in identifying key areas for UX analysis and optimization.
  • Conduct fit-gap analyses in data sources, models, and platforms to enhance consumer insights and UX improvements.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure the flawless execution of UX data programs.
  • Ensure all programs are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Own and manage UX data products, ensuring continuous evolution and improvement.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and cost using appropriate methodologies.
  • Ensure optimal resource availability and allocation to meet business objectives.
  • User Experience Data Evaluation & Governance
  • Work with business functions, UX designers, data analysts, and data strategists to identify and propose data-driven opportunities for improving digital experiences.
  • Assess the availability and relevance of internal and external UX data sources, leveraging new data collection methods such as heatmaps, session recordings, and user journey tracking.
  • Collaborate with the M&S function to select relevant data sources and ensure data accuracy for UX insights.
  • Translate functional needs into technical specifications for the Data Platform and Operations team, ensuring business objectives are met.
  • Work alongside the Master Data and Data Quality team to uphold data quality standards within specific UX-related initiatives.
  • Define data validity, relevance, and relationships to ensure meaningful UX analysis.
  • Training & Enablement
  • Educate key business leaders on data-driven UX strategies, agile methodologies, A/B testing, and statistical validation of user experience improvements.
  • Advocate for data-driven decision-making, ensuring organizational buy-in for UX analytics initiatives.
  • Provide business metrics to demonstrate the impact and success of UX data initiatives.
  • Support business functions in developing training programs to enable end users of UX data products.

 

Whom are we looking for – Requirements:

 

  • Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Marketing & Sales, UX/UI Design, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven industry experience in data analysis and insights generation within UX, Digital Analytics, and M&S domains.
  • Strong experience in project management, with a track record of successful UX-focused execution.
  • Ability to collect, organize, and analyze data from multiple sources to solve business challenges related to user behavior and digital engagement.
  • Technical & Analytical Skills
  • Passion for challenging UX data problems, questioning interpretations, and uncovering meaningful insights to improve user experience.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to apply UX data storytelling to drive clear and practical business impact.
  • Strong ability to present findings to both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data mining techniques to uncover patterns and trends in user behaviour and digital interactions.
  • Knowledge of UX data governance, behavioural analytics, and A/B testing frameworks.
  • Experience with budget management, agile team coordination, and project management tools.
  • Soft Skills & Competencies
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions.
  • Ability to operate effectively in indirect/remote teams.
  • Acts proactively, anticipating the future implications of UX data-driven decisions.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a curious and innovative approach to UX data challenges.
  • Languages & Computer Skills
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office, ideally with reporting tools like Power BI/Tableau and web analytics.
  • Knowledge of major big data storage/data platforms (e.g., Data Lake).
  • Experience using Google Analytics, and Content Square for UX analytics, behaviour tracking, and user journey optimization.
