Global Planning Manager
This position is important part of JTI Global Planning and Logistics CoE.
The purpose of CoE organization is to unité the end-to-end community to achieve innovation, collaboration and excellence. This role is part of Central Non-tobacco materials (NTM) planning pillar of CoE. This role is unique as it combines planning excellence and external expertise connected to external suppliers base. This role gives you the opportunity to contribute to further developing global non-tobacco material Planning capability in GlobalSupply Chain and working with as well as learning from professionals across JTI factories and GSC global functions.
What you will do - Responsibilities:
- Developing, implementing and managing processes and tools, to collect and consolidate GSC NTM requirements, enhance transparency of NTM/NTM Semi-finished goods demand with key suppliers across GSC
- Identifying, initiating, and proposing best practices for standardization and optimization of NTM/NTM SFG central planning processes across GSC with a focus on delivering supply chain efficiencies and inventory optimization. Challenging NTM demand plan, analyzing and evaluating NTM supply plan taking into account the supply constraints, proposing supply alternatives and short-term inventory adjustments
- Collaborating with factories to capture and analyze NTM/NTM SFG demand, recognize external & internal trends and influences, which impact NTM/NTM SFG demand. Highlighting NTM SFG demand-supply gaps and their impacts on GSC ability to service markets, proposing fast appropriate supply optimization actions, outlining consequential risks.
- Closely monitoring JTI product portfolio evolution, collecting, analyzing and reporting global in-house SFG NTM capacity, outlining capacity bottlenecks by configurations. Developing sourcing change scenarios, highlighting short-mid-long-term gains & risks. Proposing and bringing to approval and implementing necessary NTM SFG sourcing changes. Working closely with related stakeholders continuously monitoring in-house vs. 3rd party sourcing and make proposals for sourcing changes for economically viable options
- Diagnosing the current state of inventory management across GSC. Working out and proposing NTM inventory optimization initiatives. Designing, defining and establishing inventory key metrics and benchmarks to achieve inventory targets. Providing detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels and proposing required adjustments. Collaborating with GSC Procurement aligning optimal NTM inventory levels, factoring in NTM complexity, geographical proximity, supply confidence and delivery lead-times
- Identifying improvement opportunities, ways of working, strategic priorities for Central NTM roadmap (ASP consolidation, development of Power BI dashboards for management steering and reporting)
- Supporting and driving business-as-usual and improvement of SAP Ariba Connectivity Platform, incl. onboarding of new suppliers
Who we are looking for – Requirements:
Education: University Degree in Business Administration, Economics or Engineering
Work experience: 5 years of experience in planning roles: Supply Network Planning, Network optimization, Integrated Business Planning, Global Planning, Lead production planning, Supply Chain digitalization planning, Inventory Supply Chain Planning. Past experience in tobacco is a strong advantage
Exposure to Manufacturing Services, Production, Engineering, or Procurement areas is a plus in experience.
Language: Fluent in both written and spoken English
Other skills and knowledge:
- Experience with aggregated supply planning (across entire factory, across multiple material suppliers)
- Experience in building business scenarios, cost-benefit analysis, and making recommendations
- Proven project management experience, ideally in a global-scale project, would be an advantage
- Advanced MS Office and MS Power BI
- SAP Ariba and IBP knowledge is a must
- Strong analytical skills, great communication skill
