Data Scientist Associate

What this position is about - Purpose:

Data Scientist Associate will work on Data & Analytics initiatives with a strong focus on leveraging data to accelerate customer and consumer experience. In this role you will be responsible to unleash value of data leveraging advanced data science models to improve both lead generation, targeting and the e-commerce funnel. She or he is familiar with statistical, econometric, and machine learning approaches for classifying, clustering, segmenting, and predicting complex questions. She or he is required to work with other business stakeholders, data analysts, data scientists, and data strategists to define and develop data opportunities, as well as give actionable insights and suggestions.

What will you do - Responsibilities:

• Works with data analysts, data scientist to implement advanced analytical opportunities with a special focus on customer and consumer experience for Marketing & Sales, and Supply Chain functions
• Identifies what data is available and relevant, including internal and external data sources, leveraging new data collection processes
• Works with rest of the Data & Analytics team to enrich, segment and profile data
• Defines the validity of the information, how long the information is meaningful, and what other information it is related to.
• Defines the data quality standards in the context of the specific initiatives.
• Identifies and collects data from all kinds of different sources such APIs, internal database, external customer databases, e-commerce trackers, DMPs
• Uses algorithms to efficiently go through large datasets and apply treatments, filters and conditions to internal and external data
• Present and depict the rationale of the findings in easy-to-understand terms for nonscientific audience
• Provides on-going tracking and monitoring of performance of decision systems and statistical models.

Who are we looking for - Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Math, Engineering or a related field
• Experience in working with data science languages such as R or Python, and SQL
• Familiar with major Data Science platforms (i.e. Dataiku). Experience with Dataiku will be a plus
• Experience in working with major "big data" storage (i.e. Azure Data Lake) and analytical engines (i.e. Spark) and API management for model consumption
• Must have business professional expertise in data science modeling
• Passionate in tackling difficult prediction problems, uncovering insights in data, and applying the appropriate data science strategy to generate clear and real business effect
• Creative thinker who can offer novel methods to problems employing data mining (the process of uncovering new patterns in large datasets) methodologies and data science techniques for clustering, forecasting, and classifying
• Interpersonal skills and ability to identify and collaborate with key stakeholders across functions
• Ability to anticipate and solve problems in a proactive way
• Digital mindset, Consumer centric, entrepreneurial, and curious
• Fluent English – we work in English
