Brand & Portfolio Specialist Reduced-Risk Products (RRP)

 

 

 

What this position is about – Purpose: 

  

We’re looking for a marketing specialist with a strong analytical mindset and creativity to support impactful strategies and decision making for our Ploom brand.  

You’ll collaborate with the Brand & Portfolio Strategy Manager in developing brand & pricing strategy, performance analysis, and new product development & deployment. You will also contribute to shaping the consumer journey, analyzing market trends, and ensuring successful collaboration with various departments.

What will you do – Responsibilities: 

  

  • Brand Strategy: contribute to the brand strategy, consumer journey and competitive analysis, supporting brand activities’ development, monitoring and alignment with brand goals; 
  • Commercial Strategy & Plan: support the development and execution of commercial plans, collaborate on distribution strategies and monitor brand performance through consumer and trade activities analysis; 
  • Portfolio & Brand Communication: contribute to the planning & deploying of portfolio initiatives (new launches, rejuvenations, migrations, discontinuations and legal driven changes), establish and maintain relationship with both Local and Global Functions for commercial strategy deployment, new launches commercial plan and portfolio prioritization; establish & maintain working relationships with the brand agencies (creative, digital, CRM); 
  • Consumer Journey Strategy: assist in developing and optimizing omnichannel engagement programs, tracking consumer journey performance, and improving brand activation for maximum impact; 
  • Commercial analysis & Budget management: analyze brand performance, optimize budget investments, and support approval processes for portfolio, pricing, and distribution strategies; 
  • Cross-functional collaboration: maintain a strong relationship with local and global functions for commercial strategy deployment, new launches commercial plan and portfolio prioritization. 

  

Who are we looking for – Requirements:

 

Education: University degree;  

Work experience: 1-3 years relevant experience in Brand Management/Marketing; 

Language: Romanian and English proficiency; 

Other skills and knowledge:  

  • Confident user of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and data analysis and reporting tools; 

  • Knowledge of market segmentation, brand and performance metrics, communication and distribution channels, promotional strategies, market research; 

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret and leverage data on key metrics to identify strengths, weaknesses, and data-driven improvement opportunities; 

  • A keen interest and curiosity in market trends and the operational aspects of the business;  

  • Understanding of CRM concepts to analyze consumer data and interactions; 

  • Taking ownership of tasks and proactively solving problems; 

  • Adaptability in a dynamic environment and excellent relationship-building skills.
