Visibility & Trade Activation Junior Manager

 

Position: This role is designed to support the implementation of Consumer and Trade Activations in alignment with brand initiatives, with the ultimate goal of driving competitive advantage in the field, particularly at the point of sale (POS).  In this position, you will oversee and guide associates, ensuring alignment with company objectives and strategies, while reporting directly to the C&TA Manager.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide comprehensive support for all Consumer & Trade Marketing Activations in line with the Cycle Plan, ensuring seamless planning, implementation, evaluation of execution, and accurate reporting. Oversee and manage Consumer and Trade activation programs, including visibility & POSM, campaign implementation, and both online and offline trade activation initiatives.
  • Ensure the timely execution of all activities, incorporating innovation, cost efficiency, and high-quality implementation. Collaborate with the marketing team to plan campaigns, focusing on strategy and execution, while assuming full responsibility for on-the-ground activities to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Manage investments for each program or activity within the allocated budget, as determined by the line manager, and ensure compliance with JTI Policy and Procedures. Take ownership of budget files and accurate reporting.
  • Coordinate effectively with marketing agencies and external suppliers to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions that meet brand needs, ensuring full compliance with legal requirements. Demonstrate a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of compliance with JTI values throughout all activities.

 

Within 6 months you will:

  • Sharpen your leadership skills, building your ability to lead and manage people effectively.

 

Requirements:

 

  • A university degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • At least 3 years of work experience in marketing and sales or trade marketing. Experience in a marketing agency is a plus.
  • Assertive, with strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Highly developed organizational skills and the ability to prioritize.
  • Proven ability to manage people.
  • Experience in handling and monitoring budget files, as well as reporting.
  • Proficient command of English.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (reporting and data analysis & manipulation).
  • Willingness to relocate within the region as needed.
