Strategic Insights Manager RoMoBu

Do you enjoy turning complex data into clear business recommendations that shape strategic decisions? Are you passionate about data?

As our Strategic Insights Manager RoMoBu, you will transform consumer and market intelligence into actionable insights, lead market modelling and forecasting, and support business decisions.
You will also partner closely with Brand Marketing and Sales to align with business objectives and help drive sustainable growth in a dynamic, international environment.

What you will do

• Lead long-term forecasting for the Romania market, including market size, market modelling and market demand calculations
• Analyze market dynamics using data from various sources, like retail audit, trackers, pricing studies, financial reports, media and statistics
• Build short-term forecasts and scenarios to support portfolio pricing, excise impact analysis, industry value, gross margin and net sales decisions
• Prepare customized analyses and clear visualizations for strategic decision-making
• Administer and optimize the reporting repository for Romania, Moldova and Bulgaria
• Support cluster management for business reviews, market visits, planning cycles and regular updates
• Manage regular cluster reporting
• Act as a key point of contact for GBS and HQ in your area of responsibility

What we are looking for

• University degree, preferably in mathematics, statistics or economics
• At least five years of experience in a similar role within a multinational company
• Strong experience in data analysis, forecasting and market modelling
• Good understanding of consumer and trade trends
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large volumes of information
• Ability to translate business questions into modelling frameworks, assumptions and scenarios
• Strong business acumen and understanding of at least one FMCG category
• Good project management skills
• Ability to prepare clear written presentations and extract actionable insights
• Confidence to constructively challenge stakeholders

Skills and tools

• Good command of English
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables
• Strong PowerPoint skills
