Production Analyst

Purpose of the role

As a Production Analyst, you will process and statistically interpret production data to support business decisions and improve manufacturing performance. You will work closely with relevant departments, track improvement initiatives and provide clear performance insights to Production Management. 

What you will do

• Analyze and interpret performance data for cigarette manufacturing, packaging and filter production processes
• Identify opportunities to improve operational flows, tobacco yield, storage capacity and conditioning processes
• Analyze tobacco and non-tobacco material losses throughout the manufacturing process
• Monitor projects and tasks related to production process improvements
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports on process performance and optimization initiatives
• Evaluate performance trends against the factory’s strategic objectives
• Develop improved methods for collecting, monitoring and assessing production data
• Contribute to operational excellence activities and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• University degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering or a related field
• At least one year of experience in an industrial environment
• Good command of English
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel)
• Power BI proficiency is highly required
• Confidence working with databases and data-processing applications
• Knowledge of operational statistics and performance indicators
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and production equipment
• Strong analytical, communication and collaboration skills
• A proactive approach to simplification, innovation and continuous improvement
