NPD Support Manager

 

 

Purpose of the role

 

The New Product Development (NPD) Support Manager coordinates and implements new product development projects in line with JTI standards, procedures and specifications, while meeting customer expectations for timing and cost.

The role also drives improvements to factory-level NPD processes and specifications, supporting product quality, material performance, reduced complexity and cost optimization.

 

 

What will you do?

 

  • Coordinate project feasibility assessments, production capabilities and timelines
  • Lead project reviews and monitor activities required for successful product launches
  • Collaborate with local and global teams, acting as the factory contact for new projects
  • Implement global initiatives, including new-material qualification and specification standardization
  • Coordinate Product Lifecycle Management activities, project data, reporting and material approvals
  • Validate product and Bill of Materials data in SAP, supporting system and process improvements

 

 

Who are we looking for?

 

  • University degree, preferably in a technical field
  • Three to five years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a fast-moving consumer goods environment
  • Experience coordinating new product development activities
  • Advanced knowledge of factory and supply chain processes
  • Knowledge of product specification management and factory-related systems
  • Project management experience
  • Good command of English (B2)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Practical knowledge of SAP and Product Lifecycle Management systems
