Indirect Channel Expert

Position: 

In this role, you will fully manage the operational processes related to the Indirect channel (Distributors, Wholesale) and SIS (Store-in-Store) accounts for the assigned clients. This includes preparing, calculating, and communicating bonuses/discounts, managing contracts and addenda, maintaining databases (ISD/EBS/IDA), and providing reports to the Sales Force. The role also ensures the monitoring and updating of procedures impacting the Sales Team, the implementation of the KYC (Know Your Customer) process, and the optimization of data flows with distributors to enhance JTI’s performance in the ID and SIS universe. It is also responsible for developing, consolidating, and managing the sales discount budget (Sales Allowances). 

As an Indirect Channel Expert, you will: 

• Develop, plan, and monitor the sales discount budget (Sales Allowances) across all channels (KA, Wholesale, Distributors + SIS, Retail, Programs)
• Calculate monthly discounts and bonuses for Distributors, Wholesale, and SIS accounts
• Administrate contracts (Wholesale/Distributors/SIS), including collection, validation, and execution, including via DocuSign
• Manage and maintain databases (ISD/EBS/IDA)
• Ensure compliance with the methodology for collecting, validating, and structuring data submitted by Distributors and SIS to JTI (including sell-in, sell-out, stock levels, POS, JID files, automatically imported data, etc.), in line with defined procedures
• Manage the data transfer flow from distributor applications (JID, Conexus, ID import, etc.) to JTI systems (EBS / ISD / CUB / Power BI)
• Support the auditing of Distributor performance by analyzing KPIs (sell-in, sell-out, active POS, availability, stock days)
• Prepare analytical reports to support SIS renegotiations and efficiency improvements
• Request, validate, and contribute to the development and implementation of tactical trade marketing and consumer programs in the Indirect Channel (Distributors and SIS)
• Support the implementation of the KYC (Know Your Customer) process for relevant customers

Requirements:  

• 2–3 years of experience working with databases and reporting applications
• Experience in FMCG distribution channel management and team coordination would be considered an advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong focus on Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI; knowledge of Cub
• Good understanding of sales and operational workflows, as well as distribution channel management processes
• Understanding of distribution channels and market segmentation principles
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills
• Ability to correlate and analyze data from multiple sources
• Strong communication and persuasion skills
• Knowledge of budget planning and management
