IT Resilience Manager
What this position is about – Purpose:
The role is responsible for leading and scaling IT Resilience management across D&IT, ensuring that continuity requirements are defined through the BIA lifecycle, embedded into governance and tooling, and monitored through measurable KPIs and audit-ready evidence. The position exists to improve control effectiveness, compliance, and recovery readiness by increasing BIA quality, completion, and actionable outputs (RTO/RPO/Uptime), and by driving continuous improvement of continuity processes, templates, and enablement in line with regulatory and internal resilience requirements.
What will you do – Responsibilities:
- Drive the BIA cadence, completion, and quality assurance to ensure recovery requirements (RTO, RPO, uptime, criticality and dependencies) are accurate, complete, and aligned with business impact.
- Translate BIA outputs into actionable IT resilience and service continuity requirements and ensure they are embedded into governance expectations, recovery planning, and prioritization for High and Very High criticality services and crown jewels.
- Govern IT resilience readiness for in‑scope services by overseeing the existence, quality, maintenance, and readiness tracking of continuity and disaster recovery artefacts, test results, remediation actions, and supporting evidence.
- Define, maintain, and report resilience KPIs, dashboards, and management reporting, ensuring evidence is traceable, retained, and audit‑ready to meet internal and external regulatory requirements.
- Continuously improve resilience procedures, templates, guidance, and tooling adoption by driving standardization, ServiceNow BCM workflow enablement, stakeholder workshops, training sessions, and clear “definition of done” criteria for outputs and evidence.
- Collaborate closely with IT, Security, Risk, Compliance, and business stakeholders, confidently engaging in constructive and, when necessary, challenging discussions to drive outcomes.
Who are we looking for – Requirements:
- University degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT resilience, business continuity, service continuity, or availability management within an enterprise environment.
- Proven experience in running governance cadences, including planning, compliance tracking, reporting, escalation, and maturity improvement of BCM practices.
- Strong experience translating Business Impact Analysis outcomes into practical recovery and continuity requirements (RTO, RPO, uptime).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and confidently to different stakeholder groups.
- Solution‑oriented mindset with strong decision‑making capability.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively within a diverse, global team.
- Confident in having professional, constructive, and sometimes challenging conversations when required.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
