Job Title: Entity Finance Specialist

Reporting to: Finance Manager

Role: Permanent

Entity Finance Specialist

Purpose: The Entity Finance Specialist has full ownership of selected accounting areas under local GAAP and IFRS, including Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Leasing, and Concur (finance-related activities), in close partnership with Global Business Services (GBS).

The role also serves as a supporting accounting function for General Ledger, financial closing and reporting, and tax compliance (VAT, CIT), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Full ownership of Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Leasing, and Concur accounting under local GAAP and IFRS in partnership with GBS
• Perform period-end closing activities and support monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reporting
• Prepare and submit statistical and Intrastat reporting
• Support VAT and Corporate Income Tax (CIT) data preparation and tax tagging in SAP
• Provide support for audits (financial documents, tax, and other audits)
• Perform data loads, reconciliations, and financial analysis as required
• Act as back-up for Accounts Receivable activities, including invoicing, reporting, and master data maintenance

Requirements:

• University degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
• 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in an international environment
• Fluent in Slovak and English
• Good knowledge of Excel and SAP
• Basic knowledge of local GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations is an advantage
