WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE

  • You will support the bottom up approach in planning, forecasting and execution efforts via provision of guidance, content and the necessary toolkits and analytical support to the field-based Field Marketing team members.
  • The position will also require to develop and implement  1-2-1 activities for the assigned channel with specific objectives based on top down approach ensuring that these programs are executed based on plans.
  • The position also requires management of third party agencies and ensuring efficient budget management of assigned channel or program.
  • The position will also involve regular communication/collaboration with various functions i.e., Brand Team, Digital Team, PPO, Legal, Sales and  the on-ground Field Marketing team to ensure that all consumer engagement-related initiatives are within the bounds of the respective campaigns and based on relevant consumer insights to help regions achieve their respective targets and provide a talk-worthy consumer engagement experience.

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Apply and amplify the big idea in the assiged channel or project ensuring that activities remain faithful to brand equity, global mandatories/toolkits and marketing objectives. Use working knowledge on relevant channel dynamics and consumer engagement principles to further increase the impact and effectiveness of all engagement initiatives that cohesively integrate with the total brand plans while staying relevant and impactful to territories during execution.
  • Provide full 1-2-1 consumer engagement support to In-Field teams in terms of BA deployment, uniforms, activation materials and premium items of the assigned channel ensuring standard look and execution while being compliant to brand guidelines and mandatories.
  • Work in close and active collaboration with Brand, Digital, Legal, PPO, Trade Engagement and In-Field Marketing Teams in establishing a structure that will align and prioritize brand strategies while being compliant to global brand guidelines and mandatories to further solidify providing support to achieve the territories' goals and objectives.
  • Provide third party activation agencies with clear, strategic, actionable, value-adding feedback and directions/training in order to assist them in developing brand activation ideas/proposals. 
  • Challenges partner agencies to drive innovation and develop best-in-class output through stragetegic discussions.
  • Manages provided A&P according to priorities and business targets. Determines the proper allocation of funds of the assigned channel across brand and territory initiatives/requirements to achieve objectives in the most cost-efficient manner. (evaluate KPIs against ROPs).

 

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing / Business / Communications or equivalent.
  • At least 3 - 5 years experience in an FMCG company as part of BTL Marketing group handling events or from a BTL (Brand Activation), Events, or PR agency. 
  • Online Event Management experience is a plus

     

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:

  • Data Analysis. Ensure that all necessary data collected from 1-2-1 programs are assimilated to establish patterns, draw conclusions and find solutions that can further enhance ongoing/future programs and help boost company's performance.
  • Consumer Profiling and Insights. Knows how to synthesize multiple sources of consumer and market data to obtain a clear picture of the brand's target market to guide/improve consumer engagement activities.
  • Consumer Engagement Excellence. Coming from the final approved brand idea, able to apply and amplify the big idea across relevant touchpoints that remain faithful to brand equity, global mandatories/toolkits and marketing objectives. Use working knowledge on all relevant channels dynamics and consumer engagement principles to further increase the impact and effectiveness of all engagement initiatives that cohesively integrate with the total brand plan.
  • Project Management. Prioritizing projects ensuring that each program's objectives are met, within budget and executed based on agreed timeline. This person must be willing to take risks, make assessments and recommends solutions to problems arising from program/s.
  • Presentation Skills. High self confidence in presenting to a large crowd, higher management while ensuring that the message is delivered across clearly and effectively. Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel & Powerpoint)
  • Budget Management. Takes full responsibility in managing the entire channel or program budget ensuring that money is spent efficiently.
