RRP Strategic Insights Manager, Caucasus

 

Position Overview:

 

The incumbent will be responsible for delivering valuable insights and data-driven recommendations on RRP (products with the potential to reduce the risks associated with smoking) category based on consumer and market research data to support informed decision-making.

The role involves conducting long-term forecast by managing Market Model in collaboration with RMC (Ready Made Cigarettes) Team, carrying out customized analysis to support various departments across the organization, and delivering commercially relevant, consumer-centric data to the management team.
The vacancy has been announced both internally and externally across the Azerbaijan and Georgia markets,targeting local candidates. This is a permanent position based in either Baku, Azerbaijan or Tbilisi, Georgia. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generation and connection of insights across tobacco categories; multicategory consumer behavior monitoring: gaining an understanding how consumers interact with and make purchasing decisions across multiple tobacco categories.
  • Cooperating with cross-functional departments to drive business objectives by generating and providing customized analysis, insights and actionable recommendations based on available commercial and consumer (behavioral) data to support informed decision-making.
  • Managing market modelling process in collaboration with RMC Team within planning cycles/business reviews on new available market data and provided inputs to ensure its accuracy over time.
  • Tracking Key Performance Indicators for RRP category and sharing commercial performance on regular basis. Manage data organization and reporting streamlining via maintenance of commercial data single source, keeping actuality of its structure and content.
  • Monitoring and analyzing data relating to market/industry dynamics (e.g. competitors' activities, product launches, pricing strategies, promotions) to identify the opportunities for tobacco categories growth within the markets.
  • Execute omnichannel data analysis and synthesis.
  • Developing enhanced consumer understanding on RRP category usage to uncover consumer insights and market trends. Translating consumer and behavioral data into actionable recommendations for global and local improvement
  • Liaise closely with HQ Strategic Insights, HQ Digital Eco System, HQ Global Consumer Care to implement new strategic and portfolio research methodologies, exchange best practices through specific projects/initiatives.
  • Managing collaboration with external agencies to provide accurate and business-related information on consumer trends, behaviors and competitive activities for RRP Category in a timely manner.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, or a related field. Availability of MBA is advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience in FMCG industry in Marketing, Strategic Insights or similar functions.
  • Proven experience of working in cross-functional / cross-country projects and teams.
  • Fluency in English, Russian is a plus;
  • Advanced Excel, Power Point, Power BI knowledge;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good attention to details;
  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and industry trends.
  • Good understanding of market research methodologies with ability to interpret research findings into strategic recommendations.
  • Solid understanding of KPI tracking in digital environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex information.
