Marketing Intern – Azerbaijan

Location: Baku, Azerbaijan

Duration: 12 months, part time - 0.5 FTE

Role Overview

 

  • We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to support the operational and administrative activities of the Marketing team in Azerbaijan.
  • This role provides hands-on experience across marketing operations, document flow management, supplier coordination, reporting, and system-based processes.
  • The intern will assist with contract and invoice processing, SAP and 1C operations, marketing reporting, and coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Through close collaboration with marketing managers and suppliers, you will contribute to the efficient execution, quality control, and financial accuracy of marketing initiatives while gaining practical exposure to end-to-end marketing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the full document flow cycle, including preparation and processing of contracts, amendments, additional agreements, invoices, acts of acceptance, and other related documents.
  • Assist in the preparation of Transfer, Return, and Disposal Acts.
  • Perform transactions and basic operations in SAP, ECAS, and 1C, including logistics and warehouse processes.
  • Monitor and control supplier balances in 1C.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly marketing reports.
  • Place and manage orders for materials, goods, and services.
  • Maintain effective communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders throughout all project stages, from initiation to final payment.
  • Support the submission of CE, PR forms, and Cash Equivalent Briefs, including coordination of required approvals.
  • Control the invoicing process by collecting, checking, and submitting invoices and supporting documents to the Finance Department for payment.
  • Perform quality control of consumer activations by reconciling reported data.
  • Assist in the preparation of briefs and tasks for tender initiation.
  • Provide general support for marketing activities and tasks assigned by the manager.

Requirements

 

  • Currently enrolled in the final year or recently graduated from a degree program in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Management, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Azerbaijani and English (Russian is an advantage).
  • Interest in marketing operations, document flow, supplier coordination, and support of marketing activities.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with SAP, 1C, or ECAS is a strong advantage.
  • Analytical mindset, sense of responsibility, and readiness to work with reports, financial, and logisticsrelated data.
