Regulatory Affairs Manager 

 

 

What this position is about - Purpose: This position is responsible for assisting CA Director in managing and leading all regulatory affairs issues. These issues include global developments on tobacco taxation, product regulation and other business costs as well as supporting combating illicit trade with all level government contacts.

 

What will you do - Responsibilities: 

 

  • Provide dynamic and ongoing support to Corporate Affairs Director in order to ensure continuity and consistency in CA program delivery. 

  • Contact and take support regularly with internal counterparts on regulatory developments and in establishing company positions impacting their areas. 

  • Continuously monitor and analyze regulatory developments in Turkey and abroad. Monitor the tobacco environment, identify, research, analyze and report on relevant Corporate Affairs issues.

  • Lead projects formulated regarding business priorities not only with the interaction of internal counterparts but also with other stakeholders. 

  • Participate in sectoral and macroeconomic meetings, contact related associations and support Ankara-based external relations whenever necessary. 

  • Develop relationships and represent the company in engagement with non-governmental organizations

 

 

Who are we looking for – Requirements : 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in either  Economics and/or Administrative sciences

  • 5-10  years of experience in a similar position 

  • Turkish and English language knowledge 

  • Constantly strive to improve the quality of products/services 

  • Challenge status quo, looking for better ways to improve the business, manage changes in an efficient way 

  • Take action to improve team’s performance
