Role: Junior Brand Manager

 

What this position is about - Purpose:

 

  • The Marketing Projects Associate is part of the Marketing agile pool, provides support to both Brand Management and Strategic Insights and manages multiple projects at the same time. Is in regular contact with third parties and manages them on a day-to-day basis to achieve excellence in execution.
  • Provides support to Brand Management by taking responsibility on development and execution of brand activation programs towards internal, consumer and trade. Ensures compliance with brand platforms and guidelines, and assists in the translation of brand strategies into actionable brand programs. Develops permanent and temporary branded POS materials within budget and ensures the timely delivery. Is also responsible for basic supporting materials like pack shots and vending labels and handles consumer complaints. 
  • Assists the Strategic Insights team in collecting and distributing management information based on market, brand, and consumer data within the organization. Sets up and manages market research projects based on identified business needs. Performs business analysis and collects and analyzes competitive intelligence information.

 

What will you do - Responsibilities:

 

  • Development of brand activation programs towards internal, consumer and trade with the objective to achieve the brand KPIs. Development of permanent and temporary branded POS materials and development of brand activation materials towards trade and consumers within budget and set timing.
  • Brand programs implementation: Implementation & tracking of the brand activation programs in close cooperation with the rest of the Marketing & Sales organization. Evaluates programs and highlights improvement points for future programs.
  • Collecting and distributing management information based on market, brand and consumer data within the organization. Sets up and manages market research projects based on identified business needs. Performs business analysis and collects and analyzes competitive intelligence information.
  • Agencies' management: Responsible for the day-to-day management of external agencies (activation strategy agencies, production agencies, market research agencies), monitoring the progress of projects, supervising related costs incurred and ensuring that deliverables are on time. Highlight agency non-performance ensuring that corrective action can be taken.
  • Handling administrative marketing processes and consumer service: Responsible for daily administrative processes (budgets, proof of delivery, project updates/monitoring etc.) and development of basic supporting materials (vending labels, packshots, etc.). Consumer service responsibilities translate in handling consumer communication.
  • Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon the manager’s request. To contribute to local & global projects & initiatives as required.
     

Who are we looking for - Requirements:

 

  • HBO / University Degree (preferable in Marketing / Commerce)
  • No previous working experience required or 1-2 years of experience as a junior brand manager in FMCG.
  • Internship and/or traineeship in FMCG marketing as well as knowledge/interest into market research is a plus.                                            
  • Fluent in Dutch and English                                             
  • MS Office
