Then we have the perfect role for you. For our Fields Sales team, we are looking for an ambitious full-time Commercial Planning Manager in the Netherlands.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE: 

 

The Commercial Planning Manager is accountable for solid strategic commercial planning of Sales force coverage and capacity to support the overall business objectives and translation of the brand and sales objectives and strategies into feasible innovative trade- and brand-related programs optimizing impact at POS.
In this position, you will contribute actively to creating the annual strategic plan (ASP) as a member of the Stratcom committee.
You will liaise very closely with all relevant Marketing & Sales functions.

What will you do - Responsibilities:

 

In this position, you will:

 

  • develop, evaluate and optimize JTI's Trade Marketing strategy in alignment with Company & Brand objectives
  • ensure alignment and buy-in of the assigned programs (Catman, Activation, Trade engagement and TSP Merchandising) and activities with other M&S functions
  • evaluate program effectiveness vs. KPI’s, monitor results and recommend corrective actions
  • develop the Commercial Planning strategy in alignment with company- and brand objectives and aligned with Sales channel priorities
  • monitor and report the progress of field program execution via PowerBi and TME platforms.
  • develop and supervise the Customer Partnership Engagement and Activation strategy across channels for implementation on both organized and independent level
  • monitor and control Trade Marketing & Merchandising budget, and recommend corrective action when necessary
  • develop and optimize category management, the JTI category vision and the Catman strategy in close cooperation with Channel Management
  • supervise in-depth market data analysis covering trade, competition and JTI developments which translate into added value recommendations/programs to improve the overall business and trade relationships within assigned channels & accounts
     

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

  • WO/HBO (commercial/ trade marketing discipline)
  • Minimal 5 years Sales / Trade Marketing track record within A brand consumer goods company
  • Proven skills in management & leadership of teams & building teamwork
  • Fluency in Dutch and English.
  • PC literacy: Windows, extended knowledge of MS Office applications
