Electrical Specialist
Role
You will be responsible for continuity of the technological process by operating electrically, the prescribed parameters, Making and packing machines as well as tobacco processing machinery. Electrician is also responsible for electrical maintenance, MIC, ink jet printers and reporting as directed to Shift Lead.
Responsibilities
1. Ensure the continuity of the technological process by:
- Operating machines within prescribed electrical parameters
- Actively improving product and process quality
- Diagnosing electrical/electronic issues in M&P machinery
2. Support cleanliness and organization by:
- Cleaning machinery and the production area per ISO 9001 standards
- Ensuring clean water and air supply for machines
- Maintaining order and cleanliness of bench tools
3. Follow procedures and ensure compliance by:
- Adhering to technological discipline and ISO 9001 guidelines
- Respecting EHS rules and procedures provided by the EHS Officer
- Meeting workplace safety standards and legal requirements
4. Perform maintenance by:
- Carrying out preventive and corrective electrical maintenance per ISO 9001
- Developing and sending required electrical/electronic parts to Spare Parts Engineer
5. Contribute to development and teamwork by:
- Participating in job rotation and internal certification programs
- Supporting EHS task teams
- Assisting with the Qsens system
- Monitoring and checking quality sensors regularly
6. Address electrical/electronic issues by:
- Reporting and analyzing problems that affect production
- Taking preventive action against nonconformities
- Ensuring sensors function properly and safeguarding machine operators
7. Take ownership of technical reporting by:
- Implementing MIC
- Monitoring and reporting machine electrical downtimes and process stabilization
8. Manage special assignments by:
- Handling special projects assigned by management
- Performing additional duties as requested by superiors
Requirements

University Degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering
-
Minimum 2–3 years experience in a similar job
-
Experience in the FMCG industry or fast-paced production environments.

Good knowledge and hands-on experience with PLC systems (Omron, Siemens, TwinCAT 3).

Experience working with HMI and SCADA systems.

Ability to handle and troubleshoot motor drives and motion systems (VFD, stepper motors, servo
systems -
Comfortable working in PC environments (Windows Embedded, Windows 10/11).

Skilled in designing, modifying, and assembling classic control panels (contactors, relays, timers...).

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Modbus, Serial
RS232/RS485).

Excellent knowledge of both Arabic

Good command of English

PC knowledge (Office programs)

Knowledge of: Win CC, PLC, TWIN CAD Software, Ladder Diagrams, Electrical Diagrams, Drivers and Motors, Presentation Skills, Technical Reporting
