Process Improvement Manager

 


What this position is about - Purpose:


Responsible for data collection and performance reporting of Production Department. The incumbent will be responsible to analyze and structure all performance parameters to identify the improvement areas of process. Supports and coordinates Production Department by acting as a liaison upward, downward and laterally. Plays an active role during ASP Process for preparation of ASP Deck. Defines plans and coordinates Continuous Improvement & Mini Projects in the factory. Prepares periodical update reports for Management Team to ensure project completion.


What will you do - Responsibilities:

 

  • Establish effective administration and effective follow up on month-end closing activities and prepare NTM yield report, compile other performance parameter reports with accurate information by the sixth day of each month.
  • Generate monthly performance reports by using globally defined calculation methods. 
  • Analyze the data and identify improvement required areas to share with the department and Management Team.
  • Define, plan and coordinate (Support project leads by coaching if required) 6 Sigma & Continuous Improvement & Mini Projects in the factory.
  • Ensure daily production and machinery data is recorded into the system for performance monitoring. 
  • Coordinate suggestions for all factory and make sure that they are followed-up closely and implemented(if applicable).
  • Encourage employees by leading/coaching them to achieve Implemented Suggestion per HC and Participation Ratio KPIs.
  • Create/sustain innovative rewarding system to encourage employees to give more suggestions and to increase participation.
  • Take system admin role of GSC INNOVATE, GSCA KPI, GSCA Machinery(MII&MDC)
  • and SME/Power User of SAP HANA for SF
  • Participate in required meetings and provide improvement ideas to develop those systems globally
  • Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager’s request

 

Who are we looking for - Requirements:

 

 

  • University degree level or equivalent qualification Engineering or related discipline
  • At least 3 years in Production department 
  • Fluency in written and oral English
  • Recommendable Knowledge of MS Office, mainly Excel & PowerPoint
  • System Use - SAP as an asset
  • Analysis & Problem Solving skills
  • Data Management
  • Communication Skills
  • Process Management
  • Time Management
