Position Purpose:

The incumbent is responsible to ensure optimum product logistic and distribution processes and execution to the customers, such as wholesalers, retailers, key accounts and shops, including inevntory planning, fleet routing & scheduling, truck loading level management, customer support.
He/she is a member of sales team and lead logistics function through effective analysis and problem solution techniques. He/she ensure collaborations with related functions (internally and externally) to keep improving logistics and distribution processes and operations.

 

Tasks:

1- Delivery of Logistics KPIs & Projects
- Establish Logistics KPIs to monitor effectiveness of operations
- Develop action plans to achieve Logistics KPIs and financial commitment
- Manage, control and report Logistics KPIs as specified timing within organization and to region/HQs
- Communicate immediately and openly for any deviation (positive or negative) for achieving KPIs
- Proactively support and contribute to Maket KPIs achievement & Projects execution

 

2- Continuous Improvement
- Foster continuous improvement activities in the Sales team
- Coach team members & tiers to embed continuous improvement
- Liaise with factory for corrective and preventive actions for customer/consumer feedbacks
- Openly communicate with global functions and other locations for best practice information gathering

 

3- Compliance to Policies & Procedures and Regulations
- Ensure global/local policies & procedures, Code of Conduct, regulatory requirements, international standards to be implemented and followed
- Develop and govern Logistics related internal process, policies and procedures
- Manage SAP and JTI's business systems

 

4- Support and Collaborations
- Support all market functions to deliver company commitment & projects
- Provide necessary information & business outlooks to related functions (globally, locally) in timely manner
- Actively obtain latest business environment in the market and share to appropriate level
- Actively participate company-wide project and provide expert input

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related subjects

- Minimum 5 years experience in Logistics, Sales or Supply Chain Management.

- In-depth knowledge of the FMCG industry
- Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management process
- Solid analytical, problem solving, project management and organizational abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in standard ERP/logistics software
- Proficient in standard business applications (e.g. MS Office applications)
